Bla bla bla

This being the first week of school I am... my brain is... suffering.

I am not fully prepared.  I do not have rolls for my classes that start tomorrow and I have no idea what we will do for 90 minutes.

I am hoping for that spark that tends to happen while I am in the shower that says, "Hot damn, this is a brilliant idea at the very LAST MINUTE!"

Sometimes the ideas aren't so great.

Oh well.

Ah, I also can't log into my computer and I have no access to the database I need to set up grades or anything else.  Do I want to use the smart board in my room?  Yes.  Can I?  Maybe?

I should really lay out some clothes tonight so I don't have to think about it tomorrow morning, but I'm not sure if I'm capable of matching colors (ever).

I guess I'll just go to bed.

Heres some ideas that I use when I'm about to have a crazy week. It seems like a pain in the ass to do, but it does not take that much time and makes my life SOOO much easier durring the week...
1. buy several easy to eat fresh veggies to bag up and bring with you. I make up 5-6 baggies with greenbeans, baby carrots, peas in the pod to munch on in case I miss lunch or just want to stress eat. I get in my veggies, can just throw them in my purse, and it only takes 10 minutes to put together baggies for the whole week on sunday. I also try to always have on hand some granola bars and string cheese that i can also throw in the purse... I know myself well enough to know that if I don't eat good food I get grumpy FAST.
2. go ahead and set out you clothes for the week. thats right. its geeky, sometimes makes you feel like you're wearing a uniform, but hell, its sooo worth not having to spend 20 minutes seaching my closet for 1 pair of nude colored underwear I own so I can wear the white only pair of clean pants I have left...
When I have a busy morning, I never bemoan having an outfit already ready to go. infact, setting them out for Jane too might make the morning even easier...maye you can put her clothes away with outfits together...
3. use the automatic coffee maker setting. 2 minutes the night before is 100% worth not forgetting the ever nessasary coffee each morning...

Reading this post was very unpleasant for me. Reliving the anxiety of the first day is kind of horrible. Hope everything went ok. We need to commiserate. How is JG liking daycare?
